Pheeeeeeeeeewww. Hey everyone, it’s Jack here, bringing you another one of my infrequent updates. I’m feeling very, very tired this week… 🥱
Koriko is shipping! 📦
Around the world, copies of Koriko are finally arriving to backers. You can even order it here, right now, and I’ll ship it to you directly from my house (while stocks last!).1
The process of getting Koriko to print has been one hell of a long road for me, involving no small amount of anguish and a lot of patience. I’ve learned so much, and I feel really confident that I’ll be able to employ all of those hard-won insights and tough lessons when I run my next project. And here, at the end of the trail, I do feel really happy with how the game turned out—the books and boxes are beautiful and I’m very proud of my work.
Still, I’m exhausted. Working two jobs was unsustainable, writing twenty-two characters was a lot, writing hundreds of rhyming couplets was a terrible idea, dealing with international production and super-precise specifications was mind-numbing, and getting everything ready for international fulfilment was–frankly–horrible.
Even still, it’s done. If you’re a backer, I hope you love the game as much as I do. Please, please share your stories and sketches with me via email or socials—it really helps to remind me why I do all this stuff!
UK Games Expo 🛍️
Adding to the exhaust, I just got back from UK Games Expo. It was my first proper convention as Mousehole Press, and it went really well! Thanks to everyone who popped by, it was lovely to see so many of you. Lots of really kind words too, which kept me going through the 9-hour days of solo standing and pitching 😅
I’m looking forward to doing Dragonmeet later this year, and hopefully I’ll get the chance to do some international events in 2025.
I sold out of quite a bit of stock, but the stuff I have left is now listed on my website. Please help me turn the stacks of cardboard boxes in my office into sales 😂
Right, that’s it really. The next time you hear from me, I’ll be announcing my next project launch. Until then, I’m going to do my best to sleep and not work as much as possible. Wish me luck!

If you’re in the US, I’d hold off ordering Koriko or The Slow Knife—both will be available with domestic shipping fairly soon!
I also got my copy here in New Zealand, yesterday. It's a truly stunning book! Impeccable design and production. Well done.
My Koriko book arrived safely in New Zealand yesterday! It's absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to start playing! Thank you for all your hard work.
