Hey folks!
Summer is over, at least for us in the Northern Hemisphere. Sweaters are out again and everyone is getting sick. It’s a vast improvement over 36°C heat in Spain, and I always appreciate the structure that comes from the kids being back at school, but I’ll miss camping under the stars (still possible, but ill-advised) and packing light (all those coats and jumpers take up a lot of space!).
I’m finally starting to feel more normal about work, too, as this month draws to a close. A combination of Koriko fulfilment and working two jobs led me to some pretty bad burnout in April/May, and the summer holidays didn’t exactly provide a nurturing environment to rest and recuperate. Still, my latest project is doing well and I’m excited to carry on writing it. Things are feeling okay, even if the road ahead to ‘comfortable self-employment’ is still pretty long!
📈 Lost & Found ending soon
Speaking of my latest project, you still have a few days to back it on Kickstarter if you haven’t already (thanks to those of you who have!)
Crucially, backing it during the crowdfunding window gets you the games both cheaper (~20% off retail) and gets you a free, exclusive slipcase to store the trio in. We’re pretty close to our next stretch goal, too, which will upgrade all three boxes with glossy spot UV detailing. Swish!
🛒 Stock updates!
You can now, as many of you have been, order my games directly from my website. If you’re in the US, it’ll all be handily fulfilled by the lovely folks at Heart of the Deernicorn. They’ve got pretty much everything in stock over there (well—Orbital, Slow Knife & Koriko).
If you’re not in the US, you can still order from my store and it’ll be fulfilled by little old me! I’m working my way through a stack of stock boxes next to my desk, and I’ll be very happy when they’re all gone! We’ve sold out of Koriko boxes, but we have plenty of books still (plus a little bundle deal for you and a friend!).
🐲 Dragonmeet
Hopefully I’ll still have some stock left in a couple of months, because I’ll be exhibiting at Dragonmeet in London on the 30th November!
I’m not sure where my stall is yet, they’re still working on the maps, but I’m in the Lower Hall (it’s not that big). Jason from Always Checkers will be there too, we’re sharing a stall. Come say hi, I’ll probably have sweets!
That’s it for now folks,
J
Looking forward to Lost and Found. I've been enjoying Koriko. I couldn't do the full selection (we're starting birthday season along with holiday prep) but I know it will be truly excellent.
