Finding my feet 🥾
029
Hey folks, how are you all?
I love this season. Driving through the forest last week, I was buoyed by the harlequin canopy of oranges, browns, yellows and reds. I love the flexibility that summer brings (children are much easier to look after outside!), but I still think autumn is my favourite season. I do wish it wasn’t dark so early though.
Anyway, I have a couple of small things for you today, so I’ll stop waxing and get on with it…
The Lost & Found Collection
I’m working through the second of the three games, Counterpart, at a great pace now. With a bit of good fortune, the tone and world of a particular game I’m writing become second-nature. This makes all the tiny decisions – names, details, questions, hints at a wider story – much easier to make. Writing, for the most part, becomes frictionless and flows easily. This is how I feel about Counterpart at the moment, and it’s a nice way to work!
You can still preorder the games here, if you like :)
Dragonmeet
I’ll be at Dragonmeet in just a few weeks (29th November), at their fancy new venue. I did enjoy the more RPG-focused vibe last year (nobody tried to tell me about Catan), so I’m hopeful it’ll maintain that energy as it grows in scale.
You’ll find me on the map at F8, potentially looking a little tired (I’m on my own again!). I’ll have the new zine (Heavy Weighs the Crown) as well as very limited stock of my other stuff—if you want something in particular, I’d advise coming early!
Shop stock
I found a box of the hardback Koriko books (not boxes) in storage, so I’ve put some of those up for sale on my website (the rest are coming to Dragonmeet!). If you’re interested, I don’t imagine they’ll last very long!
It’ll be worth checking again at the end of the month, as anything that doesn’t sell at Dragonmeet will go on there.
Notorious
Jason’s project has only a few days left, if you’d like to get in on the cheaper KS pricing. It’s done really well!
I’m really happy with the way the narrative system turned out—it’s this tightly-tuned machine, pumping out bounty hunting stories that can surprise you while remaining authored.
This, along with the Lost & Found games, is a project that I’m really excited to be able to lay out on a table and show people at conventions—it’s going to look so good.
That’s all for now folks, likely you won’t hear from me until next year now!

Hi Jack,
I'm André Tavares from Portugal and I'll be attending Dragonmeet for the first time. I'm eager to meet you in person! If you can, save me a copy of Koriko please!
My very best regards!
